Empowering a new generation of health equity leaders.
About BLKHLTH CARES
At BLKHLTH, we recognize the growing desire among future health professionals to engage in local health equity advocacy. In response, we are proud to introduce the BLKHLTH Community Advocacy for Racial Equity School (CARES), our transformative racial health equity fellowship program.
Our mission is clear: to equip undergraduate and graduate students on health career tracks with the knowledge, skills, and hands-on experiences essential to effectively advocate for racial health equity in their local communities.
We're not just shaping future health professionals; we're shaping a healthier, more equitable future for all.
Become a BLKHLTH CARES fellow!
Are you passionate about advancing racial health equity and advocating for change?
Are you a current undergraduate or graduate student at an HBCU in Georgia?
We are currently recruiting BLKHLTH CARES fellows from HBCUs across Georgia!
Fellows representing diverse academic disciplines and campus organizations will form the core of our HBCU health equity advocacy coalition. The coalition will convene virtually periodically throughout 2025 to provide strategic direction on implementing campus-based health equity advocacy workshops, an HBCU student health equity advocacy agenda, and engagement with key decision-makers in Georgia.
